Mr. Daniel Thwaites is the Managing Attorney and founding member of the law firm. He is involved in all elements of civil litigation within the practice. He retains primary responsibility for new business, client relations, human resource management within the firm, and complex negotiations with the insurance carriers.
Mr. Thwaites originally hails from Jamaica, where he retains strong links and ties. He is called to the Bar in New York State, the US Eastern District Court, the US Southern District Court, and Jamaica, West Indies.

Professional Affiliations
- Mr. Thwaites began his legal career in the United States with the Law Firm of Burke, Lipton, Puleo & McCarthy, in White Plains, NY, staff-counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Wausau Insurance Company, Peerless Insurance Company, and Prudential Insurance Company. There, he engaged in all aspects of insurance defense litigation, from inception to trial, with a particular expertise and focus on health-care law and regulation.
Mr. Thwaites serves on the Board of Directors of Morris Heights Health Center, which provides health care services to under-served areas in the Bronx Borough of New York City. http://www.mhhc.org/
